Why is it so important to replace missing teeth?
1. General health. While missing teeth can certainly affect your sense of self esteem, more importantly missing teeth affects your ability to chew. This can lead to the avoidance of certain foods that are needed to sustain good general health.
2. Oral health. It is also important to replace missing teeth in order to stop unwanted shifting of teeth, which makes the surrounding teeth more susceptible to tooth decay and gum disease.
3. Appearance. Your teeth together with the jawbone surrounding them define your individual , unique facial features and structure. When we loose our teeth this structure and support starts to disappear and this can lead to premature ageing.

4. Restoring the balance and prevent further potential damage to other teeth and the jaw
5. Securely fixed improving confidence
6. Maintenance - same as with natural teeth
7. We always follow our motto - Health - Comfort - Confidence
What types of implant treatment solutions are there?
We offer a wide range of dental implant treatments for the replacement of a single tooth, several teeth or full arch rehabilitations. These options can be categorised into three types of dental implant solutions:
1. Single-Tooth Implants –Designed to replace individual teeth, this implant option consists of a single implant post capped with a custom dental crown. This restoration is often a good choice if you are missing one tooth or have multiple missing teeth that are not adjacent to one another. It can also be used as part of Smile Design.
2. Multiple Implant teeth Bridges –If you have two or more consecutive missing or damaged teeth, an implant bridge may be an excellent solution. With this option, a customised dental bridge is held in place by at least two dental implants, making it much more secure than traditional bridges that are supported by natural teeth.
3. Full mouth rehabilitation (fixed) - We have doctors that have trained in full mouth rehabilitation starting with the All-on-4 concept (link video All-on-4) and have been doing this kind of oral rehabilitation for 15 years. In the case where there are no teeth or all teeth are removed, a full mouth rehabilitation is a very good fixed solution, closely mimicking real teeth. It is important to realise that replacing your own teeth with implants will take some time to get used to and it is an artificial replacement prosthesis. Saying that and after treating many patients, it is difficult to describe the positive impact a healthy set of teeth has on a persons health, comfort and confidence.
4. Implant Supported Dentures (removable) - Also called implant dentures or implant clip-on dentures, this full arch restoration can be a great alternative to conventional Generally secured by four to six implants and a specially milled bar, implant supported dentures can provide exceptional strength and stability when replacing a complete arch of teeth.
Who can have dental implants?
A thorough exam and evaluation of your mouth will be done, to decide and advise you on the best way of achieving a predictable long term result. Implants are normally done when you:

Want a replacement option for loose or uncomfortable dentures
2. As part of a Smile Design treatment
3. Do not smoke
4. Do not have any serious medical conditions which may interfere with healing
Good dental hygiene will always be an important part of implant treatment, whether it is getting your gums healthy prior to treatment or maintaining good health with regular visits after treatment.
